Clinical Supervision in Colorado

Reflective, Attachment-Based Supervision for Pre-Licensed Therapists

Clinical supervision is a space for thoughtful reflection, professional development, and ongoing learning as you grow into your identity as a therapist.

At A Way Through Therapy, I provide clinical supervision for pre-licensed therapists in Colorado, including those working toward licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or other mental health credential.

Supervision is grounded in attachment-based and relational perspectives, with an emphasis on curiosity, ethical practice, and developing confidence in your clinical work.

Whether you are navigating complex cases, refining your clinical thinking, or building your professional voice, supervision offers a collaborative space to explore the challenges and rewards of therapeutic work.

What Clinical Supervision Offers

Clinical supervision plays a central role in the professional development of therapists, supporting both clinical skill and ethical practice.

In supervision, we may focus on:

  • case consultation and treatment planning

  • understanding attachment and relational dynamics in therapy

  • navigating countertransference and therapist reactions

  • ethical and professional decision-making

  • strengthening your clinical confidence and voice

Supervision is not simply about problem-solving cases. It is also a space to reflect on how your own experiences, responses, and clinical instincts shape the therapeutic relationship.

A Relational Approach to Supervision

My approach to supervision mirrors the values that guide my therapy work: curiosity, steadiness, and relational understanding.

This means supervision is:

  • Collaborative – we think together about clinical material and treatment direction

  • Reflective – space is created to explore emotional responses and relational dynamics

  • Supportive and challenging – encouraging growth while respecting your current stage of development

Over time, supervision can deepen your clinical perspective while helping you develop a style of practice that feels authentic and grounded.
